What we treat
Protrusion (bimaxillary protrusion), gummy smile, crowding, retreatment after previous orthodontics, growth-stage treatment for children, and arch expansion (MARPE). For each case we analyze the teeth, occlusion, skeleton, and lips together, then calculate the required tooth movement before choosing an appliance — clear aligners (Invisalign · Angel Aligner), lingual braces, ceramic/metal braces, or the KILBON system.

KILBON — a researched system for severe protrusion
KILBON is an extraction-based treatment system developed at Central Dental to broaden non-surgical options for severe protrusion. It is designed for bodily movement — moving roots together — and controls vertical tooth movement as well, so changes in the lips, profile, and gum display are considered from the planning stage. The system is FDA-cleared and has been presented at UCSF, UCLA, Tufts, Saint Louis University, A.T. Still University, and ABOL (Brazil, keynote), with publications in SCI-indexed journals.

FAQ
Does protrusion always require jaw surgery?
Not always. After analyzing the skeletal relationship, teeth, and alveolar bone, non-surgical treatment can be considered in selected skeletal protrusion cases. Suitability is determined through diagnosis, and results vary by patient. Side effects may occur.
What is the KILBON system?
